Are you holding tension in your jaw?
Belly?
Pelvic floor?
If so, can you take a big breath in through your belly and then try to release that tension?
Muscle tension can creep up on you, but it’s important to try to take note of it to prevent further injuries down the road.
Musculoskeletal injuries such as overactive pelvic floor muscles (which can lead to painful sex, troubles emptying your bladder or bowels etc) or low back pain can often be attributed to tension in your muscles.
Try to do these quick body “check-ins” 3 times/day.
